Advanced Placement (AP)

Credit may be granted for AP exam scores of 3 or better. Credit awarded varies by the major a student decides to pursue. Below is a comprehensive list of AP credit awarded by the University of New Haven to incoming students.

Students planning to apply to clinical graduate programs -- for example, medical school, dental school, physician assistant or physical therapy programs -- should talk to an academic advisor before transferring AP/IB credits. Some of these programs do not accept AP courses as prerequisites for admission.
